英語強(qiáng)調(diào)句的寫法

2013年7月19日，據(jù)譯雅馨翻譯公司了解帶，強(qiáng)調(diào)句是專門用來強(qiáng)調(diào)句子某一部分內(nèi)容的。而各種各樣的強(qiáng)調(diào)句是通過調(diào)整句子語序而達(dá)到強(qiáng)調(diào)目的的。在句中借助一些加強(qiáng)詞也可起到強(qiáng)調(diào)作用。某些修辭手法如夸張、重復(fù)、對偶、反語等也能起到加強(qiáng)句子內(nèi)容的作用。

（一）掉尾句
把次要的信息或已知的信息放在前面，當(dāng)最后主要信息出現(xiàn)時(shí)，這一部分就得到了充分的加強(qiáng)。
It required the efforts of threeIvxted scholars over a period of twenty-seven years，working on the largest collection ofcitations ever assembled in any language---is all this a fraud, a hoax?
300個(gè)學(xué)者用了27年的時(shí)間完成在所有語言中收詞量最大的字典，難到所有這些都是騙局嗎?
The storm of abuse in the popularpress that greeted the appearance of Webster's Third New InternationalDictionary is a curicus phenomenon.
媒體對韋氏第三版字典的暴風(fēng)雨般的抨擊簡直是一怪現(xiàn)象。

（二）主語后移
It makes no difference whether westay or leave.
我們留下或離開都一樣。
It is a point of honor with the acustomer not to let the shopkeeper guess what it is she really likes.
對顧客來說，不讓店主猜到她心里喜歡的商品是關(guān)系到體面的事。

（三）賓語后移
We consider it necessary for herto do it all over again.
我們認(rèn)為讓她再做一通是有必要的。
One finds it a bore doing patterndrills.
練習(xí)句型很無聊。

（四）被動(dòng)結(jié)構(gòu)
The program was designed by avery little boy.
這個(gè)程序是一個(gè)小男孩設(shè)計(jì)的。
The gun powder was invented byChinese.
火藥是中國人發(fā)明的。

（五）層進(jìn)句
句子的排列順序按重要程度的順序排列，語氣逐漸增強(qiáng)，重要的信息放在句尾。
I see that small group ofvillainous men who plan，organize，and launch this cataract of horrors uponmankind.
我看到策劃、組織并對人類發(fā)動(dòng)了這場大災(zāi)難的那一小撮壞蛋。
That is what it means; that isall it means; that is all it will mean.
那就是它的意義; 那也是它全部的意義; 也將是它永遠(yuǎn)的意義。

（六）倒裝句
常見的一種方法是以否定詞開始句子，以助動(dòng)詞(do, did, can, have}強(qiáng)調(diào)句子的不同部分。
Seldom has a city gained suchworld renown.
很少有城市在世界上這么出名。
Never has a scholarly work ofthis stature been attacked with such unbridled fury and contempt.
沒有一部這么高水平的學(xué)術(shù)著作受到過如此放肆的攻擊和嘲弄。
No sooner had he opened the gatefrom outside than he came into the garden and waited until someone let him out.
他一從外面打開大門就進(jìn)了花園，一直等到有人把他放出去。

（七）其他倒裝強(qiáng)調(diào)形式
Under the large stone lies thetreasure.
財(cái)寶就放在大石頭下面。
Only five men did he see.
他只看到了五個(gè)人。
A liar he is.
他是個(gè)大騙子。

（八）通過修辭手段表現(xiàn)強(qiáng)調(diào)
(1)重復(fù)
A society is sustained bycommunication; communication makes life possible.
社會(huì)依靠交流，而交流使生活成為可能。
(2)設(shè)問句
Has the dictionary abdicated itsresponsibilities?
難道字典已放棄了它的職責(zé)嗎?
(3)夸張
I've got a mountain of work to dotoday.
我今天有許許多多的工作要做。
Again a million thanks.
再次表示無限感激。

（九）其他不同類別的強(qiáng)調(diào)句
(1)It is/was+that/who結(jié)構(gòu)
It was the new method that theyused.
他們用的是新方法。
(2) if ever引導(dǎo)從句，加強(qiáng)主句的意思
He is an orator，if ever there is one.
他是個(gè)演說家，很如有的話。
(3)雙重否定
There is no rule that hasexceptions.
事事都有例外。
(4)利用進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)表示強(qiáng)調(diào)，帶有感情XX色彩和力量。
The woman is always braggingabout her three daughters.
這女人就愛夸推自己的3個(gè)女兒。
(5)冒號和破折號后面也是加強(qiáng)的部分
They think they got their littlesecret tucked away，and so they have---exceptnow.
他們覺得把秘密隱藏了，他們也確實(shí)做到了，除了現(xiàn)在。
