Healthy carrier

Addition to the 19 confirmed cases, one student was diagnosed as a "healthy carrier," or a person who was infected with the cholera bacteria but displays no symptoms. However, "healthy carriers" can transmit the bacteria to others.

除了19個(gè)確診病例外，還有一名學(xué)生被診斷為“健康帶菌者”，也就是被感染了霍亂病毒但是卻沒有表現(xiàn)出癥狀。但是，“健康帶菌者”可以把病毒傳染給他人。

在上面的報(bào)道中，healthy carrier指的是“健康帶菌者”，指沒有生病或生病痊愈之后身上還能找到病原體的人。“健康帶菌者”自己不得病，卻有傳染別人的可能。Carrier在這里的意思是“帶菌者、病毒攜帶者”，例如HIV carrier（艾滋病毒攜帶者）、carrier of disease（疾病傳播媒介）。

Cholera（霍亂）的high-occurrence season（高發(fā)季節(jié)）是夏季。當(dāng)?shù)鼐用裾J(rèn)為low hygiene awareness levels（衛(wèi)生意識差）和 street food stalls（路邊小吃攤）是這次outbreak（集中爆發(fā)）的根源。
