外貿(mào)函電英語(yǔ)翻譯易犯的錯(cuò)誤

現(xiàn)列舉幾個(gè)大家平時(shí)翻譯外貿(mào)文章時(shí)出錯(cuò)率比較高的幾個(gè)例子試作分析，僅供讀者朋友參考，以免發(fā)生相似的錯(cuò)誤。

1. 中國(guó)民生銀行有限公司。

　　譯：China Minsheng Banking Corporation, Ltd.

分析：etc.在英文中和and so on ，and others，意思一樣并且包含and的成分，所以較正確的譯法：Our company exports industrial products, chemicals, medicines, etc.

2. 歡迎您參觀交易會(huì)。

　　譯：Welcome you to visit our fair!

　　分析：此句是祈使句，省略的主語(yǔ)為你(你們)，而原文包含我們的意思。所以較正確的譯法： Welcome to our trade fair!

3. 我公司出口工業(yè)產(chǎn)品、化工產(chǎn)品、醫(yī)藥等。

　　譯：Our company exports industrial products, chemicals, medicines and etc.

　　分析：“Ltd”是limited company的縮寫并且包含corporation（有限公司）的意思。所以較正確的譯法是：China Minsheng Banking Corporation.

　　4. 項(xiàng)目中標(biāo)之后，將立即開(kāi)始前期工作。

　　譯：After the bid is awarded, we shall immediately start our advance-phase preparation.

　　分析：通常項(xiàng)目中標(biāo)有二種譯法accept a bid 或 award the contract。而譯文把兩種表達(dá)法相混淆了。所以較正確的譯法是：After the bid is accepted (or the contract is awarded), we shall immediately start our advance-phase preparation.

　　5. 由港澳國(guó)際投資公司投資的?？陔娬竟こ桃蚱浣ㄔO(shè)速度和質(zhì)量評(píng)價(jià)。

　　譯：The Haikou Power Station Project invested by the Hong Kong-Macau International Investment Co., Ltd. was highly appraised for its construction speed and quality.

分析：投資某項(xiàng)工程的短語(yǔ)為invest in a project，所以較正確的譯法是：The Haikou Power Station Project invested in by the Hong Kong-Macau International Investment Co., Ltd. was highly appraised for its construction speed and quality.

 6. 深圳AS擁有5個(gè)控股子公司。

　　譯：Shenzhen AS Group has 5 share-holding companies.

分析：短語(yǔ)share-holding company的意思是控制或持有某公司股權(quán)的股東公司。譯文要表達(dá)5個(gè)公司持有Shenzhen AS Group的股份，顯然不符合原中文原意。所以較正確的譯法是：Shenzhen AS Group is a holding company of 5 subsidiary companies.

7. 在雙方簽約之后，各方將遵守本協(xié)議。

　　譯：After this agreement is signed by the two parties, all parties shall strictly abide by it.

分析：與上一條相類似，在協(xié)議當(dāng)事方為三方(或三方以上)時(shí)，用all parties，而當(dāng)事方僅為兩方時(shí)用both parties。所以較正確的譯法：After this agreement is signed by the two parties, both parties shall strictly abide by it.

    8. 本合同簽訂之后，簽約雙方中任何一方都不能將合同內(nèi)容泄露給第三方。

　　譯：Any of the two parties can not divulge the contents of the contract to a third party after the conclusion of the contract.

　　分析： either of the two parties雙方中任何一方為，三方(或三方以上)中任何一方才用any of the parties，因本句包含否定的意思，所以較正確的譯法：Neither of the two parties can divulge the contents of the contract to a third party after the conclusion of the contract.

9. 將委托貴公司我公司在毛里求斯的代理。

　　譯：We hereby entrust your company to be our business agent in Mauritius.

分析：entrust當(dāng)用作委托這個(gè)意思時(shí)，應(yīng)用entrust somebody with something or entrust something to somebody這個(gè)短語(yǔ)。所以較正確的譯法：We hereby appoint your company to be our business agent in Mauritius.
